Requirements

• Skills Accounting, Accruals, Audit Processes, Internal Controls
• Education Bachelor's Degree
• While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
• Relevant Work Experience 7-10 Years

Responsibilities

• Planning and overseeing activities of Payroll, Billing, and General Accounting to ensure cohesive operations
• Ensuring precise and timely financial reporting and analysis, in line with accounting standards
• Developing procedures responsive to changes in operations and company policies
• Facilitating both internal and external audit processes, supporting inquiries and ensuring compliance
• Upholding corporate policies for internal controls and managing non-sufficient funds processes
• Conducting independent reviews of business processes and internal controls, identifying areas for enhancement
• Identifying control deficiencies, recommending improvements for profitability and organizational effectiveness
• Assessing internal controls and operational performance, advising management on best practices and improvements
• Formulating policies and procedures to mitigate business risks and enhance operational integrity
• Writing audit reports and executive summaries that articulate findings and recommendations clearly
• Developing, mentoring, and training Accounting team members
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
