About The Position

The Maintenance Worker I position is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a number of items throughout the ballpark including seats, ceiling tile, concrete and drywall patching, panic hardware, and other miscellaneous items through the Great American Ball Park footprint. Additionally, they will be charged with following a preventive maintenance schedule, and assisting management with the development of capital purchases. This position must work extended hours that includes nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season. They are also on call for emergency situations that arise.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2 years experience with basic knowledge of repair and maintenance in a commercial setting
• Basic knowledge of other trades

Nice To Haves

• High School and Trade School Diploma
• 4 years experience with basic knowledge of repair and maintenance of drywall patching and install, ceiling tile install and replacement, concrete work, seat replacement, door cylinder replacements, and panic hardware repairs
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification preferred
• Computer literate with Microsoft products
• Self Starter with ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Drywall, patching and install, painting, ceiling tile install and replacement, concrete work, seat replacement, door cylinder replacements, and panic hardware repairs: 60%
• Assist other trades with project completion: 15%
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on all related equipment and record PM on CMMS system: 15%
• Perform other general maintenance duties as assigned: 5%
• Respond to off-hour emergency calls: 5%
