About The Position

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair machinery and equipment. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of new equipment. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic. The position is safety-sensitive and requires a high level of alertness and adherence to safety protocols. The technician will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of maintenance activities.

Requirements

2-5 years of relevant work experience
Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
Ability to STOP-THINK-ACT and work safely.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.
Ability to work on a rotating shift.
Ability to work rotating job stations.
Ability to effectively work in teams.
Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism.
Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles.
Ability to use formulas, theories and measurements.
Ability to work on elevated platforms that are 60’ high.
Ability to complete LOTO, rigging and forklift training.
Ability to complete and pass RJG fundamentals of systematic molding and RJG Machine Maintenance courses.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs that may pertain to maintenance of the equipment or building.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.
Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.
Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.
Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs through the use of EAM.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation.
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
