Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and write the English language.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to perform all the functions under their responsibility.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft office, internet).
Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime, and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Must be able to carry/lift to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

Advanced technical training, PLC controls experience, electrician, Plumbing, hydraulic systems, Pneumatic Journeyman or equivalent preferred
Experience with Zimmerman, Cincinnati, Onsrud and HAAS equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
Mechanical aptitude and technical skills: Strong understanding and hands on experience with precision tools, machinery, and industrial processes.
Overall understanding of facility equipment, supporting equipment and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose.
Must work well with others and act as a support function.
Report to work on time, support equipment when needed, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well with co-workers, understand, and follow work rules and procedures.
Be able to work alone and with a sense of urgency while managing stressful situations
Use of required tools and analytics to troubleshoot, repair and maintain functional equipment
Other various duties as needed or as assigned.
