Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write the English language.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to perform all the functions under their responsibility.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft office, internet).
  • Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime, and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to carry/lift to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced technical training, PLC controls experience, electrician, Plumbing, hydraulic systems, Pneumatic Journeyman or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with Zimmerman, Cincinnati, Onsrud and HAAS equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical skills: Strong understanding and hands on experience with precision tools, machinery, and industrial processes.
  • Overall understanding of facility equipment, supporting equipment and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose.
  • Must work well with others and act as a support function.
  • Report to work on time, support equipment when needed, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well with co-workers, understand, and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Be able to work alone and with a sense of urgency while managing stressful situations
  • Use of required tools and analytics to troubleshoot, repair and maintain functional equipment
  • Other various duties as needed or as assigned.
