Sr Mainframe Developer
About The Position
Develops and implements solutions that address complex business challenges, enhancing the ability to make data-driven decisions and improving operational efficiency. Prepares architecture and design documents for complex Banking applications keeping in mind design constraints that translate to coding. Develops secure and high-quality code that runs in sync with other highly efficient sub systems. Thinks out-of-the-box proactively and is creative by challenging conventional approaches and contributes towards operational efficiency. Troubleshoots problems, works with Product Teams and other stakeholders to understand complex requirements and breaks them down to design/development.
Requirements
- Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS & DB2
- Expertise in CICS Programming including knowledge of CICS Screen Programming is Mandatory
- Experience coding in MQ Series & IMS DB is Mandatory
- Must have hands-on coding development experience
- Experience with version control
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience/Knowledge in building and maintaining new Test regions is preferred
- Experience in Banking Compliance and Regulatory Platform is preferred
