About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software systems leveraging AI models such as Large Language Models, Diffusion Models, and Forecasting Models. This role involves identifying and exploring novel applications of AI within our products and services, conducting research and experimentation with new and emerging AI technologies, and staying up-to-date with the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI. You will build and operate innovative forecasting solutions, write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and actively participate in code reviews. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of learning and growth, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including researchers, product managers, and designers. This position will also contribute to the definition of technical roadmaps and architectural decisions, identify and mitigate technical risks, and propose solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will also actively participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to the broader AI community.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, AI Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or a related/similar position.
5 years in designing and deploying enterprise-level machine learning systems.
5 years in Python.
3 years with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
3 years in applying machine learning algorithms in areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Forecasting.
2 years in building and deploying machine learning models using web frameworks like FastAPI or Django.
1 year in leveraging Generative AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs), for various automation and agentic use cases.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software systems leveraging AI models (e.g., Large Language Models, Diffusion Models, Forecasting Models etc.).

Conduct research and experimentation with new and emerging AI tech and staying up to date.

Continuously learn and adapt to the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI.
Conduct thorough research and experimentation with the latest advancements in Generative AI, including model architectures, training techniques, and evaluation methods.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and engineering principles.
Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow engineers.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including researchers, product managers, and designers.
Contribute to the definition of technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.
