About The Position

The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible for all logistics functions within the assigned project(s). This includes the development of standard operating procedures and work instructions applicable across the enterprise and for individual projects. The role involves managing multiple Logistics Managers assigned to the same projects and coordinating closely with Engineering, Construction, Purchasing, Expediting, and Material Management. The Senior Logistics Manager will develop Logistics Management Plans and Transportation Plans for assigned project(s) and create staffing plans to accomplish logistics functions within budgetary constraints. The position will be based out of San Antonio, TX or at Job Sites as the needs of the Company dictates. Domestic and International Travel will be required (30%). Interfacing with multiple departments within the enterprise, partners, and clients will be required. The ability to work closely with clients and build strong relationships based on performance and trust is essential.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics functions.
• Ability to develop standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Experience managing multiple Logistics Managers.
• Strong coordination skills with Engineering, Construction, Purchasing, Expediting, and Material Management.
• Experience developing Logistics Management Plans and Transportation Plans.
• Ability to develop staffing plans within budgetary constraints.
• Ability to interface with multiple departments, partners, and clients.
• Ability to work closely with clients and build strong relationships.
