About The Position

The Senior Logistics Manager is responsible for all logistics functions within the assigned project(s). This includes the development of standard operating procedures and work instructions applicable across the enterprise and for individual projects. The role involves managing multiple Logistics Managers assigned to the same projects and coordinating closely with Engineering, Construction, Purchasing, Expediting, and Material Management. The Senior Logistics Manager will develop Logistics Management Plans and Transportation Plans for assigned project(s) and create staffing plans to accomplish logistics functions within budgetary constraints. The position will be based out of San Antonio, TX, or at Job Sites as the needs of the Company dictate. Domestic and International Travel will be required (30%). Interfacing with multiple departments within the enterprise, partners, and clients will be required, along with the ability to work closely with clients and build strong relationships based on performance and trust.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5-7 years of Transportation related experience preferred
• Technical acumen required

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Developing Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions specific to assigned project(s)
• Managing Multiple Logistics Managers at assigned project locations which includes writing project logistics plans, Transportation Plans, preparing staffing plans, budget estimates.
• Create and present project logistics reports to internal and external audience
• Developing proposal costs and plans
• Interfacing with logistics providers and internal managers
• Interfacing with Procurement, Expediting, Materials Management and project team
