Sr Linux Engineer
About The Position
This role is for a Senior Linux Engineer with a strong focus on enterprise Linux system administration. The position requires extensive experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), automation tools like Ansible, and a deep understanding of high availability (HA) and clustering technologies. The engineer will be responsible for managing virtualization, storage solutions (including LVM and NFS), and ensuring system security and performance. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python is essential, as is experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, monitoring, observability, and performance tuning. The role also involves incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), patching, and vulnerability remediation. A solid grasp of enterprise compute, storage, and networking infrastructure is necessary, along with strong communication and technical leadership abilities.

- 5+ years of enterprise Linux System Administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL).

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise Linux systems, with a focus on Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL).
- Implement and manage HA/Clustering solutions.
- Administer virtualization, storage (LVM, NFS), and related infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible.
- Write and optimize Bash and Python scripts for system administration tasks.
- Implement and manage monitoring, observability, and performance tuning tools.
