Sr Learning & Development Consultant
About The Position
Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a Sr Learning & Development Consultant to join the Engineering, Construction & Supply Chain Business Unit in Juno Beach, Florida. This role designs, develops, and facilitates comprehensive learning programs that support organizational training and compliance objectives across multiple business functions. The consultant partners with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess learning needs, gather technical content, identify knowledge gaps, and recommend training solutions aligned with operational and strategic priorities. The role manages all phases of the instructional systems design process, from needs assessment and content development through implementation and evaluation. It leads multiple learning and development projects concurrently and collaborates with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and effective. The consultant develops and facilitates instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning programs and supports onboarding and role-based training initiatives. The position supports multiple teams across the organization and requires building strong working relationships, navigating diverse business requirements, and translating complex technical information into engaging learning experiences. It applies adult learning principles, project management best practices, and multimedia development tools to create and maintain high-quality training materials and resources that promote knowledge transfer and workforce readiness. Experience with e-learning platforms such as Vyond, Articulate, Rise 360, and LMS is a plus.
