About The Position

Aleknagik Technology, LLC is currently seeking a Sr/Lead Web Developer to support the Army Food Management Information System program at Fort Lee, VA.

Requirements

• BS degree.
• At least 9 years of experience in the following: VB.NET, Java Script, ASP.NET, User Interface Development, XML, HTML, CSS, IIS7.
• IAT level II certified
• Experience in working within a variety of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• US Citizen, able to pass government background check

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree is desirable in Computer Science, Mathematics or other Engineering or Technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Capable of working independently or as a team leader role responsible for AFMIS Web design and development.
• Will be required to collaborate effectively with all team members to attain successful outcomes.
• Update the current online applications, as well as develop and implement a usability testing process to ensure that new website applications meet AFMIS requirements.
• Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements, update existing applications to meet the security and functionality standards as outlined in the Rist Management Framework (RMF).
• Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills and work effectively with customers across the organization.
• Will demonstrate and adhere to software development best practices as they pertain to software development life cycle.
• Will be required to analyze and interpret requirements to identify gaps and/or risks to delivery.
