About The Position

As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase within the Kinexys team, you will design and implement innovative solutions, collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products. This role is ideal for someone who prefers technical depth and direct contribution over traditional management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Strong experience designing and building technology solutions, with a focus on hands-on architecture and implementation.
  • Proficient in automation, CI/CD, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
  • Practical experience with cloud-native platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Demonstrated experience working with public blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working at the code level (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or similar languages).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
  • Experience integrating blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable solutions, working directly with engineering teams and writing production-quality code as needed.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding best practices in architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements, compliance standards, and security best practices.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, proactively addressing dependencies and integration points with other teams and platforms.
  • Drive adoption of automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies to improve delivery speed and reliability.
  • Contribute to the evaluation, integration, and implementation of public blockchain technologies and protocols.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
