About The Position

Serving as the go-to liaison between E&P operators, outside partners, and business contacts; keeping mineral development moving across your assigned basins. Preparing, reviewing, and managing complex oil and gas contracts, leases, and curative documents. Reviewing incoming well notices and AFEs, and flagging organic growth opportunities alongside the technical team. Working shoulder to shoulder with engineering, geology, finance, GIS, and legal to evaluate prospects and keep project mapping current. This is a senior-level seat with ownership over assigned regional basins. Managing a mineral portfolio across multiple basins isn't a simple desk job. It's relationships with the operators developing your acreage, contracts that actually hold up, and being the person who can untangle a title question nobody else wants to touch.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive landman experience across multiple basins.
• Working knowledge of Federal oil and gas regulations, Land Systems/ODL, and ArcGIS.
• A command of U.S. mineral and surface ownership principles, title opinions, and regulatory compliance.

Nice To Haves

• CPL + field land work at some point preferred.
• A track record of resolving title and contract issues independently, across more than one basin, without needing it handed to you pre-solved.
• A history of building long-term operator relationships that last past the current deal.
