The company is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Land Analyst with a strong background in real estate, a deep understanding of underwriting, real estate finance, and home building analysis, and the heart to serve others and the desire to reach full leadership potential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Finance and Real Estate are preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
- Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Responsibilities
- Identifying and assessing residential real estate land opportunities
- Coordinate supporting data on new home sales comparisons, demographics, product competition, entitlements, market trends and other information relevant to a project’s viability
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive inventory list of landowners, land opportunities, brokers, etc.
- Conducting thorough research on site characteristics, zoning, and building fees (tap, impact, permit fees, etc.)
- Analyzing market data to identify development opportunities and preparing insightful memoranda, reports, and summaries on proposed acquisitions
- Researching and analyzing comparative land comps
- Providing essential support throughout the acquisition process
