About The Position

As a Seasonal Senior Laboratory Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring the quality, safety, and integrity of our wines and spirits during one of the most critical times of the year. Working in a dynamic laboratory environment, you’ll perform physical, microbiological, and chemical analyses that directly support winemaking, environmental monitoring, and product evaluation. Your work helps ensure that every product meets GALLO’s high standards for quality and compliance. In this role, you’ll operate and troubleshoot a wide range of laboratory instrumentation, interpret analytical data, and take action when results fall outside of specifications. You’ll collaborate closely with production and laboratory teams to investigate issues, support corrective actions, and improve laboratory practices. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential as you manage samples, maintain data integrity, and follow ISO 17025-compliant quality systems. You’ll also serve as a knowledgeable resource within the lab, supporting the training and onboarding of newer team members and providing guidance when supervisors are not available. This is an opportunity to build your technical expertise, contribute to continuous improvement, and make a meaningful impact during the harvest season while working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
