Sr Lab Support Specialist

We’re seeking an organized individual to handle lab support operations, including glasswash, garment management, and gas/dry ice management. You'll be the primary point of contact for lab personnel, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all support activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years experience with material handling required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a safety-first approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Works effectively both independently and collaboratively within team environments
Nice To Haves
- Good x Practice (GxP) environment or laboratory setting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform specific tasks associated with labware operations, including precision cleaning, inventory management, quality control, and sterilization through autoclaving
- Handle gas cylinder order placements and possess knowledge of gas meters, with the ability to safely manage encounters with HAZMAT materials.
- Collect used labware/materials from various labs and ensure dedicated points of use are fully restocked
- Handle gas, garment, media consumables, and dry ice management, ensuring a consistent supply and safe storage of these materials.
- Partner with clients to understand their labware and material needs, providing timely support and ensuring stock availability
- Follow well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOPs & Work Instructions
- Maintain accurate inventory records, fulfill contractual obligations, and assist in tracking business metrics.
- Carries out disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and sterilization of bioreactors in accordance with established procedures
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
