About The Position

At Bay Materials, innovation starts in the laboratory. As the materials innovation center behind ClearCorrect, we develop advanced polymer technologies that support next-generation dental and orthodontic products. We're looking for a Senior Lab Analyst to play a key role in executing laboratory experiments, characterizing advanced polymer materials, and generating the high-quality data that drives product development. If you enjoy hands-on laboratory work, solving technical challenges, and working with advanced analytical equipment, we'd love to hear from you. As a Senior Lab Analyst, you'll support scientists and engineers by executing laboratory experiments and ensuring the quality and reliability of material testing.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience working with polymer or advanced materials.
  • Experience using analytical techniques such as DSC, DMA, TGA, FTIR, tensile testing, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a structured laboratory environment.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required, as this is a global role involving regular collaboration and communication with international stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, formulating, and testing polymer materials in the laboratory.
  • Performing material characterization using analytical and mechanical testing techniques.
  • Supporting development and optimization of new polymer formulations.
  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
  • Documenting experimental procedures, results, and technical reports.
  • Writing and maintaining laboratory SOPs.
  • Supporting patent-related studies and product development activities.
  • Ensuring laboratory safety and compliance with quality standards.
