As Sr. Kubernetes Platform Engineer III, you'll provide platform engineering expertise for containerized environments supporting mission-critical workloads, designing and operating Kubernetes platforms while contributing immediately within a disciplined Agile delivery model. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Terraform Associate certifications.
  • DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role, such as Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP.
  • 6+ years of experience in systems or DevOps engineering, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining container orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Hands-on experience ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of containerized environments in enterprise or mission-critical settings.
  • Operational experience managing CI/CD pipelines, container build processes, and infrastructure automation.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and operating container runtimes, orchestration tooling, and supporting services.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tooling including Rancher, Helm, Docker, Cilium, Rook, Ceph, MinIO, S3, and PortWorx.
  • Experience leading or assisting in design and implementation on complex integrated container platforms.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
  • This position is designated as essential personnel supporting continuity of operations and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
