About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, AWS, databases, CI/CD, microservices, and system/solution design. The candidate should be comfortable working at both the application development and architecture/design levels, with strong problem-solving and debugging skills in production environments.

  • Ability to create a simple architecture diagram for one of their productionized projects.

  • Ability to describe frontend-to-backend communication, databases, APIs, messaging, deployment, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to discuss basic scalability, availability, security, and performance considerations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills through real-world scenarios such as EKS/ECS deployment failure, application not starting after deployment, production performance degradation, high CPU/memory utilization, API latency or timeout issues, database connectivity/performance problems, service-to-service communication failures.
  • Strong understanding of commonly used Java and Microservices design patterns, including problem statement, internal working, advantages, limitations, and real-world implementation examples.
  • Ability to understand and clarify requirements, identify major system components, propose a high-level solution architecture, select appropriate technologies, explain data flow and component interactions, and consider scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Core Java and recent Java versions, Object-oriented programming, Collections, Streams, Lambda expressions, exception handling, Multithreading/concurrency, Java 8+ features, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Dependency Injection, Spring Security and configuration, Microservices development, Unit/integration testing, and writing clean, maintainable, production-quality code.
  • Will be evaluated through a Java/Spring Boot coding problem.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop responsive front-end applications using React and JavaScript.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Work with AWS services including S3, Lambda, EKS, ECS, and EC2.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Work with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle.
  • Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
  • Participate in application, system, and solution architecture discussions.
  • Design solutions that are scalable, reliable, secure, and production-ready.
  • Troubleshoot application, deployment, performance, and production issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
