About The Position

This is a full-time contract position for a Sr. Java Developer with .NET skills, lasting 18 months with the possibility of conversion. The role involves supporting credit card servicing and a major platform migration from a legacy .NET system to a modern stack including Java, MongoDB, and React. The project is scheduled to run through the end of next year. The position requires a blend of Java and .NET skills, with a primary focus on Java, but the ability to read .NET code is beneficial. The developer will work on bi-weekly releases, which may require support on Monday or Tuesday nights. As the team will be working with a new platform, an on-call rotation will be established.

Requirements

Recent experience with Java within the last few years, Java 15 or newer.
5 years Java (version 15 or newer).
3 years React.
3 years MongoDB.
Experience with OCP/Kubernetes.
Experience with Business Process Management Apps such as IBM BPM, Pega, Azure Logic.
Experience with .NET engineering.
AI prompt experience, having written playbooks will single someone out.
Must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Nice To Haves

Ability to read .NET code would be beneficial.

Responsibilities
