About The Position

We are seeking a Sr Java AI Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing and enhancing our AI and conversational platforms, focusing on backend development, event-driven architecture, and integrating large language models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, with experience in Python, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and various database technologies. Exposure to conversational AI frameworks like Google Dialogflow CX and concepts like LLMs, agentic architectures, and prompt engineering is crucial. This is an onsite role with a contract duration.

Requirements

6-8 years of strong experience in Java development, including proficiency in Spring SpringBoot.
2-3 years of experience with Python, focused on backend or data-driven development.
Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of Reactive Programming (WebFlux, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
Database expertise in both MongoDB (NoSQL) and Oracle (RDBMS).
Experience with Flink for stream processing and data pipelines.
GraphQL knowledge.
Strong understanding of Google Dialogflow CX or similar conversational AI frameworks.
Exposure to LLM (Large Language Models), agentic architectures, and prompt engineering concepts.
Familiarity with ADK (Agent Development Kit), Playbook, or similar agentic frameworks.
Conceptual understanding of machine learning fundamentals and model telemetry.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience with microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native environments (OCP, Kubernetes, etc.).
Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in banking, fintech, or digital assistant platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities
