About The Position

Demonstrated ability to deeply understand, review, and guide complex system architectures, including application, integration, and infrastructure layers. Serves as a technical escalation point for production issues, driving root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions. Partners with business teams to evaluate technical tradeoffs, ensuring solutions balance scalability, security, performance, and cost. Provides hands-on technical guidance across the SDLC, from requirements refinement through deployment and post-release support. Ensures solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards, proactively identifying gaps and risks. Translates business needs into clear technical requirements and solution approaches that engineering teams can execute against. Reviews and challenges design decisions to prevent technical debt and improve long-term system maintainability. Collaborates with operations and support teams to improve reliability, monitoring, and incident response processes. Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders to drive informed decisions. Owns end-to-end delivery of multi-workstream technical programs, coordinating across engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams. Develops and maintains integrated program plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource needs. Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates program risks, especially those with technical or integration complexity. Drives cross-team alignment and accountability, ensuring commitments are clearly defined and met. Facilitates technical decision-making forums, guiding consensus while keeping delivery progress unblocked. Provides transparent status reporting and executive communication, highlighting risks, tradeoffs, and decisions required. Manages scope, timeline, and budget impacts resulting from changing technical requirements or constraints. Ensures program execution aligns with enterprise priorities, architectural direction, and operational readiness expectations. Leads post-delivery reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future technical program execution. Acts as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring technical programs deliver measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Maximo (version 6 – current MAS 9)
  • Interfaces to SAP
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting and implementing comprehensive IBM Maximo and IBM MAS solutions across Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory Control, Procurement, Preventive Maintenance, Mobile Applications, Health, Monitor, Predict, and Integration Framework components.
  • Proven experience integrating IBM Maximo with enterprise platforms including SAP, SAP S/4HANA, PeopleSoft, Oracle Applications, Ariba, Supplier Master systems, REST services, JMS messaging, XML-based interfaces, and Ignition technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture disciplines, including cloud adoption strategies, security frameworks, integration design, disaster recovery planning, performance tuning, and architectural governance.
  • Successfully participated in large-scale transformation programs such as IBM Maximo 7.6.x to IBM MAS migrations, cloud modernization initiatives leveraging AWS, OpenShift/ROSA and Amazon EKS, Oracle RDS transition projects, CI/CD implementation, and SAML-based authentication integrations.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Java, J2EE, Jython, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Oracle, DB2, AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ServiceNow, and enterprise integration technologies.
