We're seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to help strengthen and advance our cybersecurity capabilities across enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, manufacturing environments, and emerging technologies. This role offers the opportunity to influence security strategy, implement modern security solutions, and partner across the organization to protect critical business and operational assets. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of working on-site three days per week, subject to business needs. This role also requires occasional travel to manufacturing facilities and requires participation in after-hours support, incident response, and escalation activities as business needs arise.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, security architecture, infrastructure security, cloud security, or related technical security roles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions in complex environments.
  • Network, endpoint, email, and cloud security technologies
  • Identity and access management, privileged access, MFA, and conditional access
  • SIEM platforms, threat detection, incident response, and threat hunting
  • Vulnerability, exposure, and attack surface management
  • Data protection, DLP, CASB, SaaS security, and secure collaboration technologies
  • Security automation, scripting, APIs, and orchestration
  • AI, IoT/IIoT, and OT/ICS security concepts and controls
  • Cloud security architecture and secure integration practices
  • Technical documentation, architecture design, and security reporting
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative approach and ability to influence across teams
  • A passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement
  • Sound judgment and a risk-based approach to decision-making

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, industrial, operational technology (OT), or industrial control system (ICS) environments.
  • AI, generative AI, and agentic AI security.
  • IoT and IIoT security.
  • Experience supporting highly regulated or complex enterprise organizations.
  • Relevant certifications are preferred, including CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, Azure Security certifications, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize security solutions across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, email, data, and business systems.
  • Enhance authentication, privileged access, encryption, endpoint protection, SaaS security, and data protection capabilities.
  • Support secure-by-design principles and security architecture standards across technology initiatives.
  • Partner with IT, engineering, and manufacturing teams to secure AI, IoT, and operational technology (OT) environments.
  • Develop and implement controls that protect enterprise data, connected devices, industrial systems, and AI-enabled business processes.
  • Support asset discovery, network segmentation, secure remote access, and protection of critical manufacturing technologies.
  • Lead risk-based vulnerability management, threat detection, threat hunting, and incident response activities.
  • Utilize threat intelligence, attack surface visibility, and security monitoring tools to identify and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and security partners to investigate threats, drive remediation, and improve security resilience.
  • Conduct security assessments, support audits, document risk decisions, and align security practices with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Help ensure security investments and controls align with business objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, automation opportunities, and security tools that improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance while influencing security-minded decisions across the business.
  • Contribute to the long-term cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
