Sr IT Infrastructure Engineer - Enterprise Database Platform Services - Remote

Come build the future of pharmacy with us. The Senior IT Systems Engineer designs, implements, and supports secure, highly available database and infrastructure environments. This role provides advanced hands‑on DBA support, including SQL Monitor administration, DBA tasks, and participation in a rotational on‑call DBA and monitoring rotation. The role serves as a technical subject matter expert, translating architectural standards into scalable solutions while supporting critical production systems. Requires 5+ years of experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, along with hands‑on experience creating, running, and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Proven experience communicating effectively to multiple subjects and audiences
- Experience with specific domain relevant to team
- 5 years of experience with infrastructure technologies - AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Terraform
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Perform hands‑on implementation, configuration, and support of database and infrastructure solutions
- Execute technical deliverables supporting key strategic initiatives
- Develop, test, and maintain logical designs based on architectural standards and reviews
- Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
