About The Position

As a Sr. IT Business Analyst at LJA Business Solutions, you will provide end-to-end support for LJA’s financial systems. This role partners with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve business processes, administer system configurations and security, and manage the full lifecycle of technical issues and system enhancements. Serving as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, you will independently drive solutions that support accounting operations and enterprise reporting.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating collaboration between business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a senior-level capacity.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals.
  • Experience with SDLC processes related to testing and documentation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL concepts related to Incident and Change Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise financial or ERP systems.
  • Background in project or opportunity management systems integration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate vague business expectations into documented system requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with accounting and operational leaders to evaluate and improve processes across project accounting, AR, AP, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting systems.
  • Managing system configurations, user security permissions, troubleshooting incidents, identifying root causes, and overseeing change management through resolution.
  • Documenting business requirements, assisting developers with solution design, building comprehensive test scenarios, and validating enhancements to ensure systems meet business needs.
