Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years demonstrated experience in designing, developing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining web applications.
  • Two (2) years demonstrated experience in Java, ReactJS, Gradle, Confluent/Kafka, Python 3.10 or later, Spring boot, Struct, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SOLR, Elastic, MongoDB, K8S/GKE/AKS, Docker Swarm, and Jenkins/Github Actions/Github Advanced Security.
  • Web front-end development technologies using JavaScript, React, Angular, NodeJs, and HTML/CSS.
  • Agile methodology.
  • All phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and source management.
  • Translating sophisticated functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
  • Designing systems with high performance, scalability and availability.
  • Creating and implementing event driven architectures.
  • Public cloud environments Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Multiple Azure services using AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure Event Hubs.
  • Designing and building RESTful APIs and managing cloud application security.
  • Docker and Kubernetes and scalable system architecture, resilience, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the innovation, design and implementation of new architecture and solutions using modern architecture patterns.
  • Designing and implementing standard methodologies and repeatable process constructs to scale and harden our services ecosystem.
  • Leading and coaching software engineers to deliver highly available, reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
  • Accountable for architecture and oversight of highly available, highly reliable products.
