About The Position
As a Senior IT Architect, you will be responsible for the operational support, design, and maintenance of Infrastructure for regional workloads at Honeywell Aerospace. This role involves working with and supporting VMware, Windows & Linux Server Architecture & Administration, and Cisco networking stacks. Additionally, it includes complimentary technology management of regional infrastructure such as physical network & backup infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience with VMware
- Experience with Windows Server Architecture & Administration
- Experience with Linux Server Architecture & Administration
- Experience with Cisco networking stacks
Responsibilities
- Operational support of on premise and regional technology including virtualized workloads and networks
- Facilitate the implementation of new technology stacks and migration of workloads
- Provide escalation and supplier management to Site & Business
- Support the business case development, IT transformation, and service optimization initiatives
- Ensure full adoption and implementation of Honeywell Aerospace standards, tools, processes, and strict adherence to Honeywell policies
- Partner effectively across teams, suppliers and business customers on cross-functional projects and process improvements
- Participate in site leadership meetings as an on-site focal
- Bring business requirements to the greater IT team for review, solutioning and implementation
- Support incumbent projects to the site as well as Global Standardization initiatives.
- Travel as required for infrastructure deployments and support
