As we continue to scale our global platform, the Sr. Inventory Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening inventory accuracy, financial controls, and operational decision-making across Fanatics Brands' internal and external network.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, operations, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze multiple data sources and business processes, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, advanced logic-based formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, connecting disparate data sources, and data visualization.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics processes, including cycle-count programs, inventory controls, and warehouse-management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply structured problem-solving techniques and implement sustainable business-process improvements across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Inventory Integrity team within Fanatics Brands by analyzing inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes, and translating findings into sustainable cross-functional business process and system improvements.
  • Ensures inventory transactions are recorded accurately, classified appropriately, and supported by effective SOX controls — while also contributing to transformational initiatives including new ERP and inventory-management capabilities.
  • Delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.
  • Partners cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Distribution, Supply Chain, and Technology to ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately and controls are consistently applied across the network.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on end-to-end inventory business processes, translating findings into standard operating procedures, control enhancements, and training that elevate team capability and alignment.
  • Supports ERP transition and inventory-control projects through analysis, testing, implementation, and post-launch stabilization, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful adoption.
  • Ensures inventory accuracy and on-time availability of licensed fan merchandise by identifying and resolving discrepancies quickly, with durable corrective actions that minimize recurrence.
  • Builds and maintains KPIs, dashboards, and exception reporting that measure service-level performance and provide business partners with clear, actionable insights to improve inventory accountability and operational performance.
  • Supports cycle-count programs, reconciliations, and inventory monitoring frameworks across internal and external facilities to sustain reliable fulfillment for fans across all channels.
  • Contributes to new process and system rollouts that enhance the speed and accuracy with which fan orders are processed and fulfilled across the Fanatics Brands network.
  • Mines and analyzes inventory and transaction data from multiple platforms, connecting disparate data sources to build interactive dashboards and actionable reporting using Excel, Microsoft Access, MicroStrategy, and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Applies data-mining and exception-reporting techniques across high-volume SKU, location, and transaction data to proactively surface risk indicators and process breakdowns before they impact financial results.
  • Identifies high-risk operational processes and recommends practical process, control, and technology solutions — including AI-enabled analytical tools — that drive scalable, sustainable improvement.
  • Develops and implements cross-functional inventory processes and controls that support SOX compliance while advancing the organization's broader digital and automation capabilities.
  • Analyzes and reconciles inventory discrepancies, determines root causes, quantifies business impact, and drives corrective actions — recommending financial reserves where appropriate to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Establishes and maintains a comprehensive inventory monitoring and control framework across internal and external facilities, including aging and activity analysis, risk indicators, audits, and cycle-count programs.
  • Manages competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency and constructive judgment, working independently to meet deadlines during demanding situations including financial close cycles and ERP transition milestones.
  • Applies AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
  • Uses data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working.

  • The primary place of performance of this role is the Company's office located in Tampa, Florida, subject to the Company's current hybrid work policy. This role currently requires in-office presence 3 days per week.
