A role in Planning and Inventory Management involves applying specialized expertise to purchasing decisions, inventory levels, and product distribution. This requires using data and expertise to achieve optimal product availability through proper inventory positioning, efficient global product transportation, and compliance with U.S. Customs regulations. Key aspects include developing strong vendor relationships for on-time shipment and delivery, and analyzing transportation supplier capabilities for maximum speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. As a Sr. Inventory Analyst for Women's Apparel, you will drive business strategies to ensure strong inventory reliability and profitable sales through efficient inventory management. This involves utilizing deep analytics for problem-solving and improving key performance indicators (KPIs), managing and allocating inventory across all stores and nodes, monitoring inventory health, identifying improvement opportunities, negotiating internal and external business relationships, and conducting in-depth analysis for replenishment throughout the product lifecycle. Beyond department-level results, you will also have division-level responsibilities, including training and onboarding, creating and leading the implementation of division-level strategies, partnering with Inventory Management Operations (IMOps), Stores, and GSCL teams to execute enterprise processes, and championing change across your division. You will also indirectly lead a group of Inventory Analysts and serve as the Inventory expert for roundtable leaders across merchandising and planning.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of inventory management, retail supply chain, or related field.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong initiative and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large and complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated planning, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence the roundtable and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Experience leading a CFT.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, forecast & planning.
  • Leadership skills.

Responsibilities
