About The Position
The Senior IR Technologist must demonstrate competency and actively participate in the lead/coordinator role. This includes active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in IR Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings. The technologist must also demonstrate competency and the ability to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures.
Requirements
- 3 years of IR experience.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a healthcare environment.
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
- ARRT & CRT Licensure
- BLS (CPR) Certification
Nice To Haves
- 3 years Experienced with Neuro and Body IR
- Previous experience in similar acute care setting
- Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient setting
- VIR Certification or obtained within 1 year of hire
- Recent work experience in an acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role.

- Support both Body and Neuro IR.
- Take call duties on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
