About The Position

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing Hyper-V cluster architectures, including multi-data center failover, storage, and network configurations. The position involves evaluating and recommending hardware for Hyper-V environments, and developing/maintaining automation tools using PowerShell, WMI, and .NET for infrastructure management. Key responsibilities include enhancing and supporting existing server orchestration and workload management automation platforms, leading infrastructure automation and continuous delivery initiatives, and troubleshooting complex issues across various infrastructure layers. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential, as is mentoring peers. The role operates in a fully onsite work environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing Hyper-V cluster architectures.
• Experience with multi-data center failover, storage, and network configurations.
• Experience evaluating and recommending hardware for Hyper-V environments.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining automation tools using PowerShell, WMI, and .NET.
• Experience with infrastructure management tasks such as provisioning, patching, compliance, and decommissioning.
• Experience enhancing and supporting server orchestration and workload management automation platforms.
• Experience leading infrastructure automation and continuous delivery initiatives.
• Advanced diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Experience collaborating with hardware engineering, vendor partners, and operations teams.
• Experience mentoring peers through code reviews and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Hyper-V cluster architectures, including multi-data center failover, storage, and network configurations.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on hardware for Hyper-V environments.
• Develop and maintain automation tools using PowerShell, WMI, and .NET for infrastructure management (provisioning, patching, compliance, decommissioning).
• Enhance and support existing server orchestration and workload management automation platforms.
• Lead infrastructure automation, continuous delivery initiatives, and environment upgrades for scalable, reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across hypervisor, storage, network, and compute environments using advanced diagnostics.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, vendor partners, and operations teams to ensure high-performing, aligned infrastructure solutions.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and documentation of automation processes and platforms.
