This position provides senior technical leadership for security engineering activities supporting Cyber Division and IT Infrastructure systems. The focus is on technical RMF execution, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, and security integration for complex operational environments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in security engineering with strong infrastructure and cyber focus.
  • Experience with network security, operating systems, and enterprise tools.
  • Hands-on RMF technical execution and security control implementation.
  • Proficiency with vulnerability scanning and analysis tools.
  • Strong background in change management security reviews.
  • Experience supporting high-visibility cyber systems.
  • Knowledge of FBI or similar IC/DoD infrastructure security requirements.
  • Security Clearance TS/SCI Eligible (must be able to obtain and maintain)
  • National Capital Region
  • IAM Level III certification - CISSP, CISM, or CAP.
  • CCNP Security
  • AWS Certified SysOps
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Technical ISSE with deep infrastructure and cybersecurity engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior technical leadership for security engineering activities supporting Cyber Division and IT Infrastructure systems.
  • Focus on technical RMF execution, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, and security integration for complex operational environments.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and coordinate across teams.
  • Solid documentation skills for technical RMF deliverables.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced operational environments.
