About The Position

The Senior Influencer Manager is a strategic leadership hire designed to support the vision of the Influencer Director and the Brand Communications department. This role requires a seasoned professional (5–7 years) capable of translating high-level communication goals into actionable creator strategies for major Retail and QSR accounts. The ideal candidate operates at the intersection of brand storytelling and digital performance. You will ensure influencer programs are culturally relevant and "on-brand," while also architecting them to work seamlessly with paid media amplification. Success in this role requires a blend of high-level strategy and the operational discipline to manage the essential clerical and administrative foundations of a high-volume agency desk.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in influencer marketing, ideally in an agency setting supporting Brand Communications.
  • Proven ability to source and recruit creators across various tiers (Nano to Macro) that fit specific brand personas.
  • Balanced understanding of paid media fundamentals (Whitelisting, Partnership Ads, and boosting workflows).
  • Proven track record in Retail, QSR, or high-volume consumer goods.
  • Willingness to handle administrative and clerical tasks (contract management, invoicing, and logistics) with high accuracy.
  • Must be willing to travel locally and be based in Southern California.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a right-hand to the Influencer Director, helping to scale the agency’s influencer offering and ensuring it supports the long-term goals of the Brand Communications department.
  • Collaborate with Account Groups/Teams to develop influencer roadmaps that protect the brand's voice while supporting the high-velocity promotional cycles typical of the Retail and QSR sectors.
  • Work closely with the Digital Media team to ensure influencer content is "paid-ready." This includes advising on creator selection for whitelisting and ensuring technical requirements for boosting are met during the briefing stage.
  • Lead the identification and vetting of new and emerging creators who align with specific campaign objectives. This includes maintaining a pulse on diverse talent pools across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Oversee rigorous vetting processes that prioritize both brand safety and a creator's historical performance in paid-amplified environments.
  • Lead contract discussions for high-value talent, ensuring all agreements include the necessary digital usage rights for paid media distribution.
  • Leverage your SoCal base to manage regional content captures, on-site activations, and local talent agency relationships.
  • Manage the essential administrative foundations of influencer marketing, including the meticulous tracking of contracts, processing of invoices, and maintenance of creator databases.
  • Coordinate between creators and the media department to facilitate the funding of boosted content, ensuring efficient handoffs of assets and credentials.
  • Collaborate with Brand Communications and Media teams to provide 360-degree reporting that measures both organic brand sentiment and paid-driven conversions.
