About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. This Sr. Industrial Engineer role is responsible for driving DRAM Module Product Prototype development and qualification, managing non-revenue generating wafer and cost strategy for all DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) products. The position involves leading discussions with stakeholders across the Technology & Product Group, Global Supply Chain, and Business Units to capture and model DEG product requirements. The engineer will design and enhance models to effectively represent DEG product development requirements, forecast long-term engineering demand, and ensure demand records meet special requirements and exceptions. Collaboration with Global Supply Chain (GSC) teams is essential to represent DEG product development demand signals through appropriate system communications. The role also provides experimental support for Product Engineering development, manages engineering inventory and product line cleanup, and is responsible for projecting Operating Expenditures (OpEx), cost strategy, early product life-cycle demand modeling, and leading Development Chip and Sustaining Products within the Product Development Team (PDT). The Sr. Industrial Engineer is accountable for achieving program targets related to schedule, quality, costs, manufacturing readiness, and budget, and will collaborate with multi-functional teams to support product development demand, enable new product flows and manufacturing exceptions, and assist with data attribute analysis. Part-time telecommuting may be an option.
