Sr. Industrial Designer
About The Position
Interface with customer and internal teams on project meetings than transfer the customers vision into a product. Communicate product ideas through sketches, renderings, and CAD Software; develop 3D mockups. Provide product development documents such as: drawings, renderings, product structures, quality criteria, schedules etc. Create prototypes for customer and company review. Actively manage cost initiatives through the product development process. Manage product development process for multiple products. May mentor and/or train less experienced Industrial Designers and Technicians.
Requirements
- Technical degree and/or certification required
- Four (4) or more years experience in industrial design
- Proven experience with Illustrator/Photoshop CS5
- Proven experience with Autodesk Alias Design 12
- Proven experience with CAD
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors degree preferred
- manufacturing experience preferred
