About The Position

Without supervision, UHS HTM Senior ISE (Senior Imaging Service Engineer) performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on Medical Imaging devices used in the diagnosis of patients at assigned UHS facilities. The role focuses on ensuring the safest and best possible patient experience by delivering exceptional service that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance. The Senior ISE also assists in developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships and meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.

Requirements

• Very experienced with healthcare technology management programs.
• Thorough medical equipment knowledge (manufacturers, models, modalities, device types, capital planning).
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements of medical imaging devices (CMS, TJC, NRC, State, Local).
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft products).
• Very experienced with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) products.
• Little to no guidance provided by Supervisor on daily basis.
• Local travel will be required periodically.
• Technical School/2 Years College / Associate’s Degree, Military minimum.
• 8-10 minimum years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Certification preferred (CRES) and/or other professional certifications as deemed pertinent by the hiring director.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 10 preferred years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on Medical Imaging devices.
• Can perform preventive maintenance (PM) or operational verification procedure (OVP) on 95% of the device types in Medical Imaging inventory.
• Can repair 95% of the device types in Medical Imaging inventory unassisted.
• Ensures the safest and best possible patient experience.
• Delivers exceptional service to all customers that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Assists in developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships.
• Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.
