About The Position
Under limited supervision, this role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and servicing HVAC cooling systems and related equipment. The position demonstrates a high degree of technical knowledge and provides guidance to lower-level HVAC repairers.
Requirements
- Vocational / Technical / Business School
- 1 to 3 years of work experience
- Certified HVAC Technician
- Proficiency with office equipment (e.g., computer, copier)
- Proficiency with Hand tools (e.g., hammer, shovel, screwdriver)
- Proficiency with Power tools (e.g., radial saw, reciprocating saw, drill, pheunomatic hammer)
- Proficiency with Vehicles (e.g., automobile, truck, tractor, forklift)
Nice To Haves
- May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice and training to staff.
Responsibilities
- Services special electrical controls, gauges and panels for all equipment.
- Services and changes out motors, fans, exhausts and vent systems.
- Diagnoses problems and repairs equipment valves, chillers, boilers, traps, exchanger, radiators, regulators, pumps and pipes.
- Repairs and calibrates pneumatic and electric controls, variable frequency drives, connecting pipes, valves, dampers, actuators, air compressors and refrigeration dryers.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Benefits
- Salary Range: $22.51 – $37.14
