The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner provides broad based professional human resources generalist support to the overall business with a focus on the nursing department. This position will partner with all HR functions to implement practices, policies and procedures in order to be responsive to the Hospital's goals, culture and competitive practices. All HR staff members focus on the points of integration for seamless patient care, employee effectiveness and experience. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner provides human resources consultation and support to the Nursing Department. Uses knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to line managers. Consults with Nurse Leaders including the CNO in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs. Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary.
