About The Position

Support the Human Resources team Salary up to: $94,000 Responsibilities Developing strategic business partner relationships by working with agency leadership in understanding and supporting their organizational needs. Partner with leadership to build an employee engagement strategy that strengthens agency culture and employee experience. Provides consultation and guidance regarding human resources transactions, policies, procedures, administrative rules, State and Federal laws, and Human Resources best practices. Serves as the designated HR liaison for assigned divisions, supporting all HR functions including workforce planning, employee relations, and talent acquisition. Oversees full-cycle recruitment efforts including job posting, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding activities. Maintains HR data systems, reports, and spreadsheets to inform agency-wide and division-specific decisions. Advise leaders on compensation decisions and talent management to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness. Partner with benefits teams to address employee questions and promote understanding of available resources. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Mentor and coach Level I and II HRBPs, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer across the HR team. Performs other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities may vary based on division assignments and evolving agency priorities, and may include special projects, or other duties to support organizational goals. Physical Demands and Work Environment This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. This position requires sitting for prolonged periods of time, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Occasional travel may be required to other sites or locations. Requirements
