The Sr HR Business Partner will partner with senior managers to drive various HR practices and solutions, including training and development, remuneration, recruiting, workforce planning, talent management, retention, and engagement programs. This role ensures internal client HR needs are met, serves as a subject matter expert, and supports the execution of HR strategies. Key contributions include facilitating conflict resolution, assisting with negotiations, counseling business management on HR matters, and coaching senior leaders on talent practices. The position operates with broad parameters, handles complex topics using expert functional knowledge, and provides guidance to less experienced staff, often covering a complex region or large country with over 1,000 employees. The role also contributes to policy assessment and definition, and involves frequent interaction with senior leaders, requiring advanced communication and influencing skills.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in the Human Resources Function.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Must possess strong skills/experience in business partnering.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change.
  • Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and organizational development experience.
  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with clients where integrity is unquestioned; can effectively utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills when needed.
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures business compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with (senior) managers and drive/partner in various HR practices and solutions related to training and development, remuneration, recruiting and selection, workforce planning, success profiling, on-boarding, talent development and management, retention and engagement programs.
  • Ensure the HR needs of internal clients are appropriately met.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR-related matters and support the execution / implementation of HR strategies and programs.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution activities and assist managers with negotiations at senior levels.
  • Counsel and advise business management teams on HR-related matters.
  • Advise line management on HR practices.
  • Coach senior leaders on talent practices and development.
  • Operate within broad parameters and deal with complex topics using expert functional knowledge and extensive experience, as well as conceptual, original thinking.
  • Function as internal escalation level on the functional area - usually covering a complex region or large country with over 1,000 employees in different (sub-) functions - and provide guidance to less experienced professional or administrative staff.
  • Contribute to policy assessment, improvement and definition.
  • Work with management teams, internal and external HR partners and COE's to develop and implement HR, engagement and retention plans.
  • Interact frequently with senior leaders, often requiring advanced communication skills to communicate complex information and influence to achieve desired outcomes.
