Join Weyerhaeuser and play a key role in shaping the employee experience at two of our lumber manufacturing facilities in Dierks, AR & Idabel, OK. As a trusted advisor to mill leadership teams, you'll influence business outcomes through talent strategy, employee relations, workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or unionized environment.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
  • Experience with employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, and recruiting.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Union experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree and HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with mill leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Serve as a member of the Mill Leadership Teams and trusted advisor on workforce, talent, and organizational challenges.
  • Lead employee relations, engagement, and performance management initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, and recruiting for salaried and hourly positions.
  • Guide compensation reviews and workforce analytics to attract and retain critical talent.
  • Support union relations and administration of the collective bargaining agreement at the Dierks facility.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and labor agreements.
  • Lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen business performance.
