The role involves working on challenging problems within the supply chain and collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. The goal is to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost. The position is located in Seattle, WA or Austin, TX. The AWS Infrastructure Service (AIS) organization focuses on delivering cutting-edge solutions for socially responsible data center supply chains. The AIS Power & Cooling team is seeking a results-oriented individual to manage sourcing and supply for Data Center Power & Cooling Equipment, driving the growth of AWS. The Procurement Manager will manage the end-to-end global sourcing and supply chain for categories within Power and Cooling Equipment for AWS Data Center build projects. The primary responsibility is to ensure unconstrained supply globally, understand demand signals, and develop appropriate supply strategies for continuity. This must be achieved while maintaining a low cost structure and adapting to volatile demand.
