About The Position

We are looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented Avionics Technician, with a background in the aircraft or automobile industry. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Previously/Currently held Repairman Certificate a must have
- 5+ years of avionics experience
- Must have Garmin installation experience
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Airframe Certificate / FCC License a plus
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repair all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft including Garmin, Aspen, Genesys, Avidyne
- Performs IFR/VFR inspections
- Under limited direction, performs the removal/installation of avionics components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics systems.
- Reassembles aircraft interior, instrument panels, and avionics equipment bays following the successful installation of wiring avionics systems and components.
- Ensures all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
- Learns, understands, and follows the Company work order and parts requisition process as written.
