About The Position

AMR is hiring a full-time Ground Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining the safety and overall condition of its fleet across multiple locations. The role supports the delivery of timely, high-quality transportation services and care to patients. The position is onsite in Mesa, Arizona, with a stated starting wage of $19.00–$28.00 per hour or a salary rate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Two years of verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper/Associate experience.
• Two ASE certifications in the Truck or Automotive series; Brake and Steering/Suspension certifications are preferred.
• MACS AC certification or equivalent ASE certification.
• Two consecutive satisfactory yearly performance appraisals.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality in sensitive areas.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions in memos, letters, documents, and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform the essential job functions and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Basic automotive knowledge and skills necessary to maintain and repair company vehicles.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications in Brake and Steering/Suspension.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Assist other mechanics as needed.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with company policy and safe practices.
• Complete required paperwork accurately, neatly, and on time.
• Use the maintenance database to document completed tasks and job assignments.
• Attend all mandatory fleet training.
• Perform other duties as requested by the shop foreman or shop lead mechanic.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
