Performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to facility engineering and maintenance functions, while providing field leadership, ensuring quality assurance, supporting training efforts, and managing escalations. Conduct inspections, testing, routine maintenance, and repairs on fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, customer requirements, and company procedures. Troubleshoot fire alarm system deficiencies, diagnose equipment failures, replace system components, and perform corrective repairs on a variety of fire alarm system manufacturers and related equipment. Perform scheduled annual, quarterly, and periodic inspections while accurately documenting findings, deficiencies, completed repairs, and inspection results using service software and reporting tools. Communicate inspection results, system deficiencies, recommended corrective actions, and repair solutions clearly and professionally with customers while maintaining strong customer relationships. Manage service calls, schedules, and follow-up corrective work to ensure timely response and completion of service activities across commercial and industrial job sites. Maintain compliance with OSHA safety procedures, company safety policies, and safe work practices while working at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
