About The Position

Performs analyses in support of business unit goals and initiatives. Provides support to business units in developing and reporting budgets, forecasts, investments, and related processes, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations. Depending on applicants’ qualifications, the position may be filled at a lower level.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited school and 4–6 years of related experience; candidates without a bachelor’s degree must have at least 8 years of related work experience.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of financial analysis and processes.
Demonstrated ability to work with managers throughout the company in analyzing financial situations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
Planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical support to business units in developing and reporting budgets, forecasts, investments, and related processes and initiatives.
Conduct variance analysis.
Ensure accurate forecasting and internal reporting of Operations and Maintenance and capital budgets.
Provide timely insight on potential risks and opportunities.
Assist in developing short- and long-term business plans in support of the corporate strategic plan.
Participate in the performance improvement culture by identifying or reporting performance and productivity metrics and participating in process improvement teams and benchmarking initiatives.
Ensure compliance with established company policies, procedures, and regulations, including SOX.
Provide analytical support for regulatory filings.
Conduct ad hoc analyses and prepare reports and exhibits as needed.
Know and follow all compliance requirements, policies, codes, and regulations applicable to the position and company.
Perform related duties as assigned.
