This position serves as the Finance Partner for the Blaine manufacturing site, responsible for developing financial plans, monitoring performance against those plans, and analyzing variances. The role involves the end-to-end development of annual operating plans for the manufacturing site, including process flow, timeline, scenario loading, and financial consolidation. It also supports standard cost summary/inputs and cost revaluation analysis, as well as quarterly forecast processes with an emphasis on developing high-quality forecasts with a detailed understanding of potential risks and opportunities, including maintaining a working forecasting model. The analyst will track and analyze performance against the financial plan, forecast, and prior year, identifying root causes for shortfalls and partnering with the business on countermeasures. Additionally, the role supports data collection and consolidation for manufacturing variances and costs, assists with the monthly close process and analyzes results for business partners, and maintains a standard reporting package to communicate results to management and the leadership team, summarizing key conclusions and recommending opportunities for improvement. The analyst will develop tools to support analyzing results and performance, find opportunities for improving financial processes, and apply Lean tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role owns the financial overview for Capital investments, indirect purchases, and operating expenses across the function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Manufacturing or Corporate Finance required.
  • Ability to communicate and deal effectively with personnel at all organizational levels and establish sound relationships with co-workers, executives and field finance personnel.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau and OneStream XF or similar financial reporting systems.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility for work outcomes.
  • Must be flexible, organized and able to work under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Applies good analytical and problem-solving skills to complex financial scenarios using good judgment, fact-based reasoning, and knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS).

Responsibilities
