About The Position

The Sr Financial Analyst will provide strategic planning and direction for airport concessions operations. This role involves leading the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes. The analyst will develop and maintain financial models to evaluate operational performance, labor, food costs, margins, and profitability. They will produce weekly and monthly financial reporting packages with actionable insights and executive-level presentations, analyzing key business drivers such as sales trends, labor productivity, COGS, occupancy costs, and EBITDA performance. The position requires partnering with Operations leadership to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization, and supporting month-end close by ensuring accurate financial reporting and variance analysis with the accounting team. The role also involves building dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial and operational performance across multiple airport locations, utilizing OneStream for financial processes, and leveraging the Restaurant365 (R365) ERP system. Additionally, the analyst will evaluate capital investments, new location openings, contract renewals, and business development opportunities, while also focusing on improving FP&A processes through automation and continuous improvement. The role requires preparing presentations and financial analyses for various stakeholders and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
  • Five to eight (5–8) years or more of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Advance operational and technical accounting background knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Dynamics; R365 ERP system.
  • Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, ability to prepare letters, spreadsheets, presentations, and/or other documents as required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors and/or others as required.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Strong FP&A experience in a multi-unit operating environment and proficiency with OneStream and/or Restaurant365 (R365).
  • Experience in airport concessions, hospitality, or restaurant operations is strongly preferred.

  • Evaluate capital investments, new location openings, contract renewals, and business development opportunities.
  • Improve FP&A processes through automation, reporting enhancements, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations and financial analyses for executive leadership, lenders, airport authorities, and ownership groups.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support strategic initiatives across Finance and Operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to applicable regulatory requirements, organizational policies and procedures, and departmental guidelines.
  • Supports the preparation yearly reporting to outside agencies as required.
