Position Description Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, this dynamic individual will be primarily responsible for process coordination and financial analysis related to the Milwaukee business’ operating expenses. This position will ensure timely and reliable reporting is available to support the rapid growth of the Milwaukee business. This role will require interaction with all areas and levels within the Milwaukee organization including Sales, Marketing and Operations.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in accounting or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in Accounting/Finance or related field
  • Working towards CPA certification
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power BI

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics and Adaptive Planning is an asset
  • Minimal travel required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Milwaukee Team’s SG&A processes and overall consolidation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for SG&A, including communication of any methodology changes to the team to ensure alignment
  • Identify & implement process improvements and template automation to support team deliverables and improve data visibility & consolidation
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with continuous improvement team on implementation
  • Preparation and entry of monthly and yearly accruals
  • Liaise with finance, sales, and marketing with regards to customer deductions and credits
  • Monthly forecasting and analysis of SG&A, ensuring total aligns with management expectations
  • Monthly and/or quarterly updating of related templates, data validation & analysis, and presentations for leadership
  • Maintenance of departmental databases and documentation
  • Annual duties related to budgeting
  • Ad hoc reporting as required
  • Position may have direct report(s) and involve training and coaching
