This role is within the Commercial FP&A team, reporting to the Sr. Finance Director, Media & Commercial. The position is central to the commercial engine driving SharkNinja's growth, managing operating expenses globally across various commercial teams, driving tradeoff decisions, and translating financial data into actionable insights for senior leaders. Requirements

  • Finance foundation with understanding of FP&A concepts and rhythms, including experience in budgeting and actuals management.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear narratives for non-finance audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Fluency (or a genuine appetite) for AI and automation tools.
  • Solid analytical instincts and sharp attention to detail, with the judgment to know what matters.
  • Ability to operate with autonomy, manage competing priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, data analysis, or a related role.

  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, or similar data environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the FP&A cycle (budgeting, forecasting, and actuals) for operating expenses across all commercial teams.
  • Build and maintain financial models to provide clarity and speed for business partners.
  • Deliver monthly actuals packages to executive business leaders with KPI-driven variance analysis.
  • Partner with commercial leaders on spend and investment decisions, identifying tradeoffs and risks.
  • Support scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis for new opportunities and strategic investments.
  • Build analysis and presentations to translate complex financial data into clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Utilize AI tools and automation to accelerate workflows and enable higher-value analysis.
  • Leverage tools like Power BI to develop scalable dashboards and reporting infrastructure.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Serve as a trusted financial partner to commercial leaders, connecting business segments.
  • Collaborate with FP&A colleagues for consistency and alignment across the global finance organization.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Influence business partners to manage operating expenses within budget.
